Anomaly Legacy

This began with drum samples provided by DangerousBear.com .

I had an idea in my head to take drum samples and turn them into FX/atmospheres....

So Anomaly Volume 1 was born - Dark FX, Strange Atmospheres...

This was originally meant to be a single library for the Wusikstation vsti. But after making the FX for the first Volume, and then making presets for it in other formats, it began to take on a life of its own. I discovered that by taking these sounds into different virtual instruments, such as Absynth, Kontakt, Dimension Pro and others, I could get vastly different sonic results. I also discoved that I wanted other sounds to combine with the FX... But always with the general idea behind the first library - dark atmospheres, strange visions, ethereal and brooding aural ambience.

These sounds, though originating almost soley as percussion, have been mangled, morphed and altered to such a degree that they have taken on a life of their own. They evoke shades reminiscent of Chthonic atmospheres and soundscapes, FX and aural cues more than likely to be found in horror movie soundtracks.

This soundset is composed of many different elements. You can combine these creating unique, menacing atmospheres or use them alone...

The Anomaly Legacy soundset is composed of 6 Volumes:

Anomaly - Dark FX, Strange Atmospheres - 50 unique sounds totalling 145 Mb, uncompressed. In SFZ format (.sfz and .wav files).

Anomaly 2 - Drones - 91 Stereo .wav files, 301 Mb.

Anomaly 3 - Pads - 701 Mb of multi-sampled Pads - .sfz and .wav files, 90 Pad sounds in total.

Anomaly IV - Wasteland Textures - 100 sounds, stereo .sfz and .wav files at 466 Mb.

Anomaly V - Voices of the Dead - Anomaly V is composed of 99 indecipherable Mono whispers for atmospheric effect and Stereo whispers in Enochian.

The Enochian was whispered by Leilah Wendell and consists of all 17 Enochian Calls as well as the Call of the 30 Aethyrs. Each Call is presented as one file in a single reading as well as chopped into bits to make it easier to spread around a track. Her voice was pitch-shifted down and put through a delay. Other than that, what you are getting is the raw, sampled files to further process, mangle, etc.... on your own.

The .wav format consists of the Mono and Stereo whispers mentioned above. The 99 indecipherable whispers are 67 Mb, and the Enochian whispers are 550 Mb in total.

Anomaly VI - Textures - 90 sounds, stereo .sfz and .wav files,528 Mb.

For a total of 2.7 Gb of sounds.

Presets are included for Wusikstation/Wusik Engine instruments, Dimension Pro, Rapture, Absynth V3 and V4 and Kontakt 2 :

For a total of over 2000 presets for 5 different instruments.

The presets were programmed by Vera Kinter, Jamie Skeen, Jospeh Pyne, John Gibson, Biodiode and Daniel Kemp.
