Anomaly Legacy The Anomaly .SF2 files have all been re-compiled in Mono, 44Khz 16 bit sample files. All sounds are single samples. Each volume now comes as a single .SF2 file, with the exception of Volume V. Volume V is composed of 3 .SF2 files. Anomaly 1 - 50 single sampled sounds, 53.5 Mb. This is the original Anomaly and features Dark FX and Strange Atmospheres. Think of nightmares in audio only..... Anomaly 2: Drones - 91 single sampled sounds, 150 Mb. Drones to be combined with the FX from the first volume. Anomaly 3: Pads - 90 single sampled sounds, 88.7 Mb. Pads now enter the mix. Beauty found and mixed with darkness. Anomaly IV: Wasteland - 100 single sampled sounds, 134 Mb. This one goes back to Volume 1 for inspiration. More FX and Textures to add just enough of something being wrong...... Anomaly V: Voices of the Dead - 3 different files - one of atmospheric whispers, the other two of Enochian. The Enochian was whispered by Leilah Wendell and consists of all 17 Enochian Calls as well as the Call of the 30 Aethyrs. Each Call is presented as one file in a single reading as well as chopped into bits to make it easier to spread around a track. Her voice was pitch-shifted down and put through a delay. Other than that, what you are getting is the raw, sampled files to further process, mangle, etc.... on your own. 99 single sampled atmospheric whispers, 67.4 Mb 99 single sampled Enochian whispers of all 17 Calls as well as the Call of the 30 Aethyrs, chopped into smaller bits, 136 Mb The Enochian Full file which contains 18 sounds - each of the 17 Calls as well as the Call of the 30 Aethyrs - each as one long sample, 138 Mb Anomaly VI: Textures - 90 single sampled sounds, 136 Mb. Textures add further oddness and darkness to the possibilities. In Bank 1 are 96 sounds provided by HG Fortune. There is an internal bank of 128 presets by Daniel Kemp. The first 64 presets use only sounds in Bank 0 while the last 64 presets use sounds from both Bank 0 and Bank 1. Wraith will also load external .SF2 files. So you can use other soundfonts and combine them with either the Anomaly or the HG Fortune sounds, or use it as a .SF2 player. With a good response on the lower frequency range one might achieve quite 'huge' and deep sounds too.
